Meg Hilly has a hybrid life as an experienced artist and equestrienne. She has done commissioned pencil portraits of horses and other animals over 20 years. She is also an accomplished photographer. In addition, Meg is a graduate of the University of Vermont where she studied painting, photography, printmaking , ceramics and sculpture. Meg spent 6 months in England, studying graphic design at London’s King College. She also attended Parson’s School of Design in New York City as well as Parsons Ecole a Paris where she earned another degree in Illustration. Meg works in pencil for portraits, water color, or colored pencil. She will work with the owner of an animal(s) to develop the optimum portrait. Prices for color work available upon request.
